  • Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

    Job Type: Full Time

    Work Location: On Site

    Job Description:
    A dump truck driver is responsible for transporting loose materials such as sand, gravel, dirt, or construction supplies to and from various locations.

    Duties:

    • Safely drive and operate the dump truck to transport materials.

    • Supervise the loading of materials and use cranks and levers to unload them.

    • Regularly inspect the truck for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks (checking oil, gas, water levels, and greasing the truck).

    • Adhere to all safety rules and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

    • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, distances traveled, and vehicle repair status.

    • Maintain the quad axle dump truck.

    • Haul materials to customers and job sites.

    • Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

    • Verify all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.

    • Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.

    • Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons to transport and deliver products.
